Fun at the S/T Farmers Market Today!

We have the best bunch of vendors, shoppers and friends at the S/T Farmers Market! It was a beautiful day, little bit of wind.. just enough to cool you off and sunny! Our vendors make the best handcrafted items, I have added some pics for you to see! We are so excited for produce, but because of the crazy weather it may not be until July that we see fresh produce in abundance! We will keep working on it, keep your fingers crossed that our farmers and growers will have a productive season! I bought some ginger/lemon honey today from Snowflake Candle and it is super delicious! Gift Baskets by Nancy had the prettiest sun hats for sale today and from what I heard, she sold all but one... you can see a pic of one of her hats below! And of course, the goat milk ice cream was a big hit again this week! It sounds like "blueberry" is the crowd favorite along with some other great flavors! My sweetheart picked up an incredible book from Wise Foods. They have some fantastic information you don't want to miss! It was great to have Moonrise Farms with us today, they had some beautiful plants available for sale... see below pic. I picked up some detailed hand stitched towels for my mom, I know she will love them. Last week I found a pretty white flower hair clip that I wore this week. The Farmers Market is for everybody, from produce to handcrafted items to delicious fudge and foods! A big thank you for great entertainment from Johnny Kay and David Peterson. Everyone enjoyed it! S/T Farmers Market - Opening Day!

May 8, 2010 - Opening Day of the 2010 Snowflake Taylor Farmers Market was a great success! We would like to thank the Rim Country Cloggers and all of the vendors for their participation plus all of our market shoppers that came out and had a great time with us! Produce is on it's way in the next few months, but that is not all that is for sale at the S/T Farmers Market! Everything from fantastic scented candles, lovely soaps, all occassion gift baskets, tempting homeade fudge, delicious goats milk ice cream, amazing hand made quilts, unique woodworking, awesome wood furniture and walking sticks, sweet hair clips and shawls, yummy jellies and jams, tasty honey & ginger honey, beautiful handmade custom jewelry, delicate handmade sweaters and mittens, great information from Wise Foods and so much more! You can also enjoy hot coffee and muffins in the morning and other food items during the day. From 11:00 am to 1:00 pm you can enjoy music and live performances from many of the talented people in our great community. Check back for updates for info on produce and events we will be adding like... pioneer games, story telling, face painting and more!

The S/T Farmers Market is from 8 am to 1 pm every Saturday through October, 2010 at Heritage Park in downtown Snowflake on Main Street. You can't miss it!
